King Kendrick Lamar just gets better and better. Having delivered the LP that, in our humble opinion, has yet to be bettered in 2015 (read our To Pimp a Butterfly review), his latest video has got our jaws on the floor once more - watch 'Alright' below.
It's beautifully shot and manages to not only encapsulate the congratulatory nature of the Pharrell produced jam, but also the confrontational nature of the album at large, much more conceptually ambitious than the previously released video for 'King Kunta'.
It echoes classic nineties videos from Busta Rhymes and The Pharcyde and, our favourite bit, the police holding aloft his car crammed full of rappers from is Black Hippy collective Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul, and Jay Rock following an unheard short freestyle (main image).
Lamar this year will take centre stage at both Reading Festival and Leeds Festival, but before that going head to head with on-off nemesis Drake at Wireless.
