This Saturday at Sankeys sees the mark of a genuine icon; Kerri ‘Kaos’ Chandler represents the vanguard of true house music.
One of the celebrated second wave of the music’s producers, his ridiculously deep, funky and soulful productions have always marked him out from amongst his peers as a true doyen of the scene, and he continues to be rightly regarded amongst all those around him. This sees him playing a five, yes five, hour set.
Antipodean disco sensation Tornado Wallace, fresh off his ridiculously well received RA podcast, is also in the mix. His riotous excursion through house, disco and techno have earmarked him as one of the hotly feted stars of 2011 and 12, signed up by the highly prized Warm imprint (home to the Innervisions starlets amongst others).
Sankeys’ own Mancunian heroes offer their support, with Ellesse, Treehouse and Plastic Co amongst the deck tyrants.
