Ketoloco celebrate five years with Halloween Warehouse Party

Leeds party crew Ketoloco celebrate five years of debauchery next week, with a Halloween themed birthday bash at The Warehouse. 

It all started five years ago in a Headingley basement when, inspired by a recent trip to Ibiza, a crew of Leeds students began to put on highly illegal yet highly attended raves. After having their knuckles rapped by the police, the party moved above ground, with nights at Back to Basics, and a string of impressive events in London and Ibiza. 

Now a much respected crew of party yahoos, the Ketoloco crew are returning to Leeds, to the city where it all began. The venue is the revived Warehouse, the date is October 29th, the theme will be Halloween. Music, importantly, will come from Solomun, David August, Jef K and jozif, as well as the reliable Ketoloco residents.

Headliner Solomun is a rare commodity in 2011 - a DJ and producer very much with his own identity. So much so, in fact, his Diynamic label (now on its 50th release) has singlehandedly put Hamburg house on the map, as well as helping to carve out careers for the likes of Stimming and H.O.S.H. Expect the man to play looped, tech-y house with weirded-out and idiosyncratic percussive detail, real instrumentation and all in a variety of shades from deep to jacking. 

Joining him will be one of his many prodigies and close label associate David August, whose own bespoke productions have won him fans and plaudits alike in recent times.

Meanwhile, something special is going down the loft upstairs, where you'll find a tribute to the 32 years The Warehouse has been in existence. As such, jozif is doing an early disco set and Jef K is digging out his finest 90's deep house, whilst the rest of the guys will be spinning acid house and Balearic beats.
