Ketoloco turns seven... Twice!

Two parties in November will see the Leeds lunatics Ketoloco turn seven years old. The promoters started in a shoddy but soul-fuelled Leeds basement, drawing infamy for their legendary afterhours shenanigans, and has since evolved, adapted and blossomed into a night that consistently sells out in the country’s capital, alongside parties in Ibiza, Back to Basics and many others in between. 

Splitting the congratulatory fun between their spiritual home of Leeds and the city where they've consistently migrated down towards in London, they will be celebrating with a double header of parties that starts on Friday 1st November in London.

That shindig takes place at the Autumn Street Studio with Chez Damier, Ejeca, Jay Shepheard, Flux and Bad Apple all playing. Damier is of course the legendary DJ who helmed the KMS label alongside Kevin Saunderson, a producer who was behind some of the most reverential deep house in the early nineties and a genuine exponent of the real flavour of this sound, currently the domineering trend within clubland.

The venue will be Autumn Street Studios, another worthy addition to London's exposed brick raw and industrial warehouse scene and a perfect environ for the historical heritage of the event. Ketoloco's background in gritty and grimy venues (does it get much more underground that the basement of someone's house?)

Three weeks later and they journey back up to Leeds, specifically to Mint Club where they'll make perfect use of the stunning soundsystem and world class lighting rig. Tale of Us headline this soiree, the darlings of botyh Visonquest and Crosstown rebels one of the most evocative exponents of emotive house and techno.

Lithuanian DJ Mario Basanov and Matt Fear will also join the Ketoloco residents and friends for what will no doubt be a triumphant homecoming for the crew in the city where the insanity first began.
