Summer may be at its tail-end by the time our August installment at matter comes along, but at Kinky Towers, we're taking our clubbers to new heights. This is because our appetite for gargantuan line-ups is insatiable, our hunger for the finest performers is never suppressed and our thirst for new music is never quenched. Who cares what the weather's like outside? At Kinky Malinki the sun will always shine on our salacious dancefloor.

In previous months at matter, we've given you Tom Novy, Kurd Maverick, Seamus Haji, Raymundo Rodriguez, Audiowhores and Kid Massive - all purveyors in the kinkiest house music around. What's that? You want more? Okay then.

This is the Kinky Malinki playground at matter in August. Enjoy.....

ROOM ONE:

FUNKERMAN


Dutchman Ardie van Beek, or Funkerman as hes now known around the world, teamed up with friend Raf and fellow Dutch DJ/producer Fedde Le Grand to create Flamingo Recordings in 2004, a house and electronic-tech label that is currently one of the hottest imprints in the world. Over the past5 years Funkerman and Flamingo Recordings have been behind such hits as 'Put Your Hands Up For Detroit', 'Take No Shhh', 'The Creeps', 'Speed Up' and the current smash, '3 Minutes To Explain'. Not only that but as far as DJ diaries go, Funkermans is fit to bursting point. With his own Flamingo Nights series of parties becoming an international benchmark for high-class production and world calibre guest mixes, a successful label and a fast-growing reputation as the man to front up any dance floor, Funkermans finger is firmly on the house music pulse!

D.O.N.S


D.O.N.S, are one of the biggest and finest house producers coming out of Germany at the moment. Notorious for their anthemic remixes of classsic house tracks such as 'Pump Up The Jam', 'Big Fun', 'The Night Train' and their current reworking of the Ralph Rosario classic 'You Used To Hold Me', D.O.N.S duo Oliver and Nils are also adept at remixing the more current and future sound of house, working with the likes of Dirty South, Erick Morillo, Steve Mac, Robbie Rivera, Bob Sinclar, John Dahlback and Roger Sanchez. Prepare to don your finest dancing shoes for these guys....

PROK & FITCH


Brighton boys Ben Prok & James Fitch joined forces after meeting in a record store in 2006. Both DJs in their own right with 18 years experience between them, they discovered that their tastes were very similar and soon became the formidable DJ duo we know today. Their debut, Outro Lugar,was picked up by Roger Sanchez and released on his Stealth label. Since then, remixes for the Utah Saints, Freemasons, Seamus Haji, Funkagenda, Hoxton Whores and Kinky's Kid Massive have fuelled their bouncy and energetic sound and unleashed it to the masses. With their own record label 'Floorplay', a string of new releases and DJ dates across the globe, Prok & Fitch are the hottest new thing on the electro circuit and we're hoping for plenty of Kinky Floorplay indeed....

RAYMUNDO RODRIGUEZ


Raymundo Rodriguez is one of the most prolific DJ's working today, with a relentless DJing schedule that has earnt him the reputation as 'The DJ who never sleeps'

Ray is among the few dj's in the world that can boast a healthy domestic and international dj career without having released a single track, something that is near enough impossible to achieve in this dj/producer dominated business. His devotion to everything house means he has a passion for it in all it's forms, from deep lush grooves, right through to jackin beats and techno. Resident at Jaded, Londons biggest and most famous after party. After 2 fantastic years at the Egg club in Kings Cross, and 2 more legendary years at AKA/The End Raymundo goes into his 5th year as Jaded's main resident, which has now moved to the Amazing Gothic Warehouse that is Ghost in East London!. Jaded has become a Sunday morning institution, guests that have dropped in for a spin include Paul Woolford, Ralph Lawson, James Zabielia, Nic Fancuilli, Tony Humphries, Clive Henry, Jose Nunez, Phil Weeks, Mike Monday, Tiefshwartz, Dan Curtin and Jamie Jones.

RASMUS FABER


Globe-trotting DJ, classically-trained pianist, producer, Farplane record label owner and remixer to the stars, Sweden's Rasmus Faber is one of the most talented and captivating entertainers of the house music scene. Rasmus sets himself apart from his industry counterparts by incorporating not just three CDJs into his set but also flawless live piano playing which adds a whole 'live' elementand leaves crowds amazed and dancefloors in shambles. His star is risingnot only because of his showmanshipbut alsohis remix duties for industry icons such as Junior Jack, Miguel Migs, Axwell, Kaskade, Tiger Stripesand Kings Of Tomorrow. Needless to say, his own productions have truly stood the test of time with classics such as 'Ever After', 'Divided/United' and'Get Over Here' as well as recent hits; 'Are You Ready' and 'Everything Is Alright' being permanent fixtures in many a DJ's record box.

CJ MACKINTOSH


Well not many clubnights can claim to have absolute clubbing legends and Godfathers of house musicas theirdistinguished regular guest but here at Kinky Malinki we can do just that. CJ Mackintosh has been setting our Kinky dancefloors alight ever since he came on board. What else is there to say about him? His sets are uniquely mesmerising and spellbinding. His ability to bring a dancefloor to its knees is second-to-none and his ear for sourcing out the finest in cutting-edge house music has had us in raptures for over two decades. He is CJ Mackintosh and he's ready to do it all again at matter in August.
