Knockengorroch announces first World Ceildh line up
Some of world music's biggest names heading for Scotland

Reggae legends Black Uhuru are among the first wave of artists confirmed for this year's Knockengorroch World Ceilidh.
The four day festival in Galloway, which takes place from Thursday May 26th to Sunday May 29th, will also welcome Family Atlantica, Skerryvore and Niteworks on an impressive line of world music.

Representing dance music will be the likes of Freestylers and Krafty Kuts while the rest of the line-up provides a melting pot of world, folk, fusion and dub reggae with electronica, hip-hop and drum n bass thrown in for good measure - both live and DJed.
As well as music, cabaret, spoken word, comedy and dance all take place across five venues, from the mighty open air stage, turf roofed and built from locally sourced timber, to a Berber tent, to the Celtic Longhouse venue, a willow wattled re-creation of an iron age dwelling.
