Knockengorroch Festival brings its 26th edition to Knockengorroch in Kirkcudbrightshire, Dumfries on Thursday 23rd - Sunday 26th May 2024 (bank holiday weekend), and they’ve just announced the rest of the artists on its lineup.
Over the weekend, 808 State, Mungo's Hi Fi x Eva Lazarus, DJ Rap, N’Famady Kouyaté, Peatbog Faeries, Dr Meaker, Both Hands, Radikal Guru, Cosmic Triceratops, Queen Omega & The Royal Souls, Vixen Sound, and more will perform, creating a sonically rich and diverse festival for the musically adventurous. Check out the full lineup below.
Covering a range of sounds, including traditional folk from just about every continent and many cultures (including Scottish cèilidh tunes), jazz, drum and bass, dub, reggae, world music, pop, hip-hop, house, techno, trance, many fusions, and more, you’d be hard-pressed to find a lineup this unique and varied.
Offering plenty more than incredible music, there’ll also be cabaret, comedy, dance, spoken word, a sauna, children’s activities, fire shows, flash mobs, real ales, “knocktails”, and workshops covering arts, crafts, heritage, and environmental subjects.
Deep in the Southern Uplands in a river valley, the area was awarded Dark Skies status, meaning it’s one of the best places in the world to see the stars.
Tickets for Knockengorroch are on sale now! If you're heading to this year's bash, consider helping the festival help the environment by securing a ticket for the Knock shuttle bus, too.
