Kooky presents Thee Cool Cats and Tom Shorterz

Manchester's Gorilla club welcomes Kooky on October 4th, who arrive at the Whitworth Street venue with a raft of house and bass specialists primed to get things freaky on the dancefloor.

At the top of the bill comes Arizona based duo Thee Cool Cats, who have been in serious demand over the past year or so. Their sensual productions have been snapped up by scene leading imprints ranging from Mark Knight's massive Toolroom Knights to classic house imprint Nurvous.

Their sound ranges from crisp, melodic deep house right through to the burgeoning sounds of Cuff inspired G-House. Expect plenty of low slung basslines and catchy rap hooks to keep your feet moving all night long. Check out their newest EP above to see what we mean.

Elsewhere expect some equally grooving extravagance from Tom Shorterz and Rinse FM favourite Marcus Nasty, who will be unleashing an assault of eclectic, bass heavy tackle that delves into dubstep, garage, grime, house and UK funky.
