The turn of the new year sees revered drum and bass collective Kosheen embark upon a small scale UK tour starting in London on Friday 29th January before rounding up proceedings in Birmingham on Sunday 1st February.
The major drum and bass purveyors hailing from Bristol are fronted by Sian Evans, who notably provided the vocals for DJ Fresh Louder's memorable smash 'Right Back'.
Since 1999 the band have released five albums that were very much at the centre of the rise of drum and bass in the mainstream. Their debut longplayer Resist was a massive hit in the UK charts, remembered for classics such as 'Catch' (above) for it's infectious vocal that shaped it as one of the most influential tracks of that era.
Their following four albums all achieved relative success, with their latest production Solitude coming late last year, earmarking a change in direction for the band. 'Harder They Fall' (above) represents this with the album being a very much darker affair than previous albums equipping their music with greater suitability and nuance to adorn club spaces when they take off on their UK tour next January.
Tour dates below:
London, Koko - Thursday 29th January
Chatham, Britannia - Friday 30th January
Manchester, Manchester Academy - Saturday 31st January
Institute, Birmingham - Sunday 1st February
