Whether it be house, techno, drum n bass, or anything else for that matter, LWE continue to ply us with the finest clubbing experiences housed in some of the most exciting and original rave spaces in the capital. This month sees LWE prepare to host two ferocious bass music events one day after another. We take a closer look at those here.
LWE treat us to a bass music feast on June 20th, with the genre smashing sounds of Feed Me at the forefront. Equally adept at dispatching full throttle drum n bass as he is deranged electro house, or mind bending dubstep, Feed Me has made a name for himself as an artist creatively free to explore all avenues of electronic music, unhindered by the genre confines. Just check out his debut LP Calamari Tuesday (above) to get a feel for why he is so admired.
Radio One tastemaker and supremely accomplished DJ Zane Lowe joins him, with Russian beat smith Proxy rounding off the belting line up.
The 21st June will see Chase & Status' lauded More Than Alot label team up with LWE for an unrivalled 15 hour party experience on the longest day of the year. Things will kick off with a daytime terrace party complete with food, beats and vibes by the waterside. Then when dusk falls, the party will retire into the warehouse for some bass driven debauchery with the greatest of MTA’s roster.
MTA Records have also launched a DJing competition for the event, so you could be in with the chance of playing not one, but two slots alongside some of the imprint's most vital players. Head here to find out how to enter.
