Relentless rave instigators 2020vision and LWE join forces to embark on a brand new project on May 25th. The Bank Holiday weekend will see an exciting new day and night party take place in an as yet secret East London Warehouse locale.
Featuring an outdoor terraced daytime party, the finest in techno, house and disco will soundtrack an awesome start to summer, with street food provided, whilst the party slowly descends into the warehouse after dusk to get deeper and darker.
The daytime will see one of the most important figures in the history of UK dance music headline - Greg Wilson (above). Having introduced electro funk to the UK in the early 80s, Greg's recent renaissance has hailed him as king of the edit scene. His sets, as can be heard above, are always crammed with re imagined classics, all given the inimitable Greg Wilson touch, making him one of the most effective party starting DJs in the country.
2020vision main man Ralph Lawson joins him for a daytime slot, and will return for the night shift too. Having been enlisted by some of New York's biggest club nights, as well as making regular appearances at the likes of Berghain, Watergate and Barcelona's Sonar, Ralph Lawson has established himself as a true underground aficionado. This will be a great chance to see him delve into all corners of his record collection.
Elsewhere London based house innovator Citizen will be putting in an appearance. With 2013 seeing him win the DJ Mag Award for best breakthrough DJ, and Kerri Chandler enlisting his talents on his Madtech imprint, Citizen has announced his arrival as a seriously talented ground breaker to watch out for.
Critically acclaimed Disco edit pros Psychemagik and Hot Creations' PBR Streetgang round off some superb day and night action. Head here for your LWE presents 2020vision day and night tickets
