It goes without saying that Amine Edge & Dance have made a solid impact on dance music of late, pushing genre boundaries with their innovative blend of g-house, in tandem with spearheading their forward thinking Cuff label that has a knack of mining some real hidden gems.
Their shining glory lies in the fact that Amine Edge & Dance (who provided us with this interview) have managed to separate themselves from the crowd, carving a blend of house and hip hop, complete with punchy bass lines providing them with a real uniqueness in the midst of a buzzing scene.
The resultant force has cannoned them to the forefront of everyone's attention, and even more so in that they've developed a monster of a label to carry that sound.
On the back of their Sankey's residency in Ibiza, Amine Edge & Dance take their Cuff label on the road, first showcasing the label in Leeds at Control on Saturday 10th October. The label party spearheaded by the star g-house selectors themselves, opens up the Leeds crowd to their hip hop infused slo mo house, along with an instalment of its label talents. Bag your tickets here.
Halloween sees Carneo Beats flying the flag for Cuff, working his magic for House of Silk at London's Scala. He's worked flawlessly on productions for the label, most recently making his mark with 'Bass Switch' (below). Tickets here.
Rounding off a marquee year for the label, Cuff head to club mecca Ministry of Sound on Saturday 6th December equipped with a shed load of stellar label acts. French compatriots Chicks Luv Us play alongside the notorious label heads, adding a new dimension with some dirty low slung beats, and emerging Cuff moulded beat smith Sirus Hood continuing the g-house trend amongst a wedge of label counterparts. Tickets for that here.
