Originating from Liverpool, Ladytron, the band who were once proclaimed as 'the best of English pop music' by illustrious composer and ex Roxy Music band member Brian Eno, have spent the past two decades sculpting and finessing their own unique and atmospheric, synth-driven sound.
They have performed across the globe, supporting the likes of Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails, at the request of Trent Reznor, and completed multiple remixes for artists such as Bloc Party, Gang Of Four and Soulwax to name a few. An impressive résumé, wouldn't you agree?
Now, after a long break, the band consisting of members Helen Marnie on lead vocals and synthesizers, Mira Aroyo on vocals and synthesizers, Daniel Hunt on synthesizers and guitar, and Reuben Wu also on synthesizers, have returned to the stage. Supporting their latest release, the critically-acclaimed self-titled album 'Ladytron', the four-piece will appear at Manchester's O2 Ritz on the rescheduled date of Saturday 29th February.
Ladytron have also released an EP which includes multiple remixes of the single Far From Home, taken from the self-titled album. The Far From Home -Nightversions EP includes remixes from the likes of Swiss house producer Dave The Hustler.
