A brand new event taking place this August Bank Holiday, Lake Festival sees three days of music and family friendly activities take place near Hollingworth Lake in Milnrow, Lancashire.

An eclectic musical line-up has been designed to appeal to all ages, with acts from the past 50 years taking to the stage over the course of the weekend.

From rock n roll legends Pete Maclaine & the Clan to niche electro DJ Joe Barnes and Emmerdale's DJ Jeff Hordley (bad-boy Kane Dingle), there's something for all tastes at Lake Festival.

More conformed acts include Salford Jets with Mike Sweeney, Northern Uproar, Girl Peculiar, The Rain Band with Rowetta ( X- Factor/Happy Mondays), Idol Frets, Johnny Sax, The Fast Cars, Ruby Ann Patterson, Pete Maclaine & the Clan, Glen Kirkham, The Removal Men, Tom Hingley (Ex Inspiral Carpets), Billy, Mandy & the Bigheads and Bandaoke.

Alongside the music there'll be plenty of things to do for all ages, with comedy tents, cooking and craft demos, guitar workshops and a funfair.

Tickets are a bargain at just £10 per day or £25 for the entire weekend. Get yours through Skiddle below.
