Roots rock reggae is going to be dominating the night at E1 this weekend as Jah Shaka Sound System rolls into the city. An event that will celebrate the Ethiopian Christmas and New Year, it is guaranteed to be a non-stop party. It will all be going off well into the early hours.

Where: The Ark, Birmingham
Bollywood, Punjabi, dancehall, house and more make for an eclectic night of sound at The Ark in Birmingham. The dancefloor will be shaking at this event as you get moving and grooving to the sounds of Saj Cobra who is playing an exclusive set. Make sure you don't ignore this one.

Bowie & Elvis' Joint Birthday Bash
When: Friday 6th January
Where: Thekla, Bristol
This weekend marks the birthdays of both David Bowie and Elvis Presley, so why not throw a party for both of them? That's what's happening at Thekla as they kick off the year by playing tracks from two of the most legendary musicians of all time. They'll have other 60's, 70's and 80's bangers playing too.

Where: Meraki, Liverpool
Why not kick off 2023 with a bit of dubstep? Coki is headlining this event at Meraki and he'll be joined by Stinkahbell and LDH Records. This is the first-ever edition of the Imp@kts night, which means that this will be a memorable one. An unmissable experience for fans of dubstep.

A club night where all things Taylor Swift are celebrated. The musician keeps on going from strength to strength and is one of the most iconic names in pop music. An endless amount of hits means that you get excited time after time at this club night where even more pop classics and anthems will be played too.
