Latitude Adds More To Its Film And Music Line Up

Latitude ramps up the hype for its 2014 edition with yet more acts joining its already impressive bill.

Joining the Suffolk festival, which takes place between 17th and 20th July, will be revolutionary solo violinist and songwriter Diana Yukawa, whose incredible classical talents (see that below) have had her in demand by a wealth of artists ranging from Jeff Beck to Paul Oakenfold.

The top ten ranked classical musician will be an essential part of this year's festival, as she displays a supernatural command of her craft, filled to the brim with emotional resonance.

Legendary house music innovator Theo Parrish is new to the line up too. His rugged, deeply soulful, jazz inflected sound has long since made him one of the most singular voices working in house music today. Just check out the irresistible groove of his latest record 'Footwork' (below) to get an idea of his very individual mindset.

He will be joined by special guests Amp Fiddler, Akwasi Mensah, Duminie DePorres and Myele Manzanza for an unmissable live performance.

Elsewhere, Total Film will present James Franco and Gian-Carlo Coppola's new movie 'Palo Alto' as well hook in a Q and A session with British film director Peter Strickland, whilst more newly added musicians come in the way off Ibibio Sound Machine and Ghost Poet.
