Having worked with the likes of Bob Marley in the past, Lee 'Scratch' Perry is a name that reverberates around the reggae world with nothing but plaudits for his innovative production and legendary standing within the scene. He sets out on tour of the UK starting with a double whammy at Band On The Wall on Monday 30th March.
The Grammy award winning producer has continually set the benchmark for the past few decades, with hits such as 'Chase The Devil' below. He is responsible for seminal album Jamaican E.T, an astutely produced slice of the Caribbean that is widely regarded as one of the very best.
He is joined in tandem by his celebrated live band in what has to be one of the most anticipated tours on the dub calendar in recent years. Lee 'Scratch' Perry not only stands as a celebrated artist but a flag bearer for the Caribbean and reggae music in general.
