Joining the likes of fantastic electro indie pop pioneers Delphic, New York based art rockers Friends, (listen to their stunning ‘friends crush’ below) indie rock duo Noisettes and breaks DJing legends Stanton Warriors, will be two of the most talked about outfits in the music world.

The Skints

Hailed as the leading exponents of 'East London Reggae', The Skints are one of those bands that deploy a whole host of seemingly separate genres into one surprisingly cohesive entity. Combining influences that range from reggae to ska, dub to punk, and alternative to hip hop, The Skints have, since their formation in 2005, been a band that have captured the public’s imagination. Renowned for their massive work ethic, the band have racked up a huge number of gigs in their career, including supporting slots for bands like Gym Class Heroes, You Me at Six, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, The Slackers, Gogol Bordello and Bedouin Soundclash. The Skints will be well at home at this, LeeFest’s biggest lineup to date.

Watch: London Grammar - Hey Now

London Grammar

They will be joined by a band on a serious ascent to the top - London Grammar. Since the band uploaded their debut single ‘Hey Now’ back in december last year, the band have gone on to win fans from right across the music community, gaining considerable support once tastemakers Radio One caught onto them. The effortlessly cool trio have been likened to The XX in their style, but remain completely unique, with comparisons being drawn between artists as varied as Drake and the Ting Tings. With their music aimed firmly at the emotions, complete with stunning vocals and the slick production skills London Grammar have hit all the right notes with fans fans and critics, and stand poised for very big things indeed.

Described as a ‘wonderfully intimate, resounding triumph’ by Virtual Festivals, this year's biggest ever LeeFest looks like putting the East London countryside festival firmly on the map.
