Winners of NME’s 'Best Festival' return for their 2013 incarnations boasting an increasingly staggering lineup of Festival exclusives. With the previously announced additions of one off UK performances from Green Day, Eminem, and Biffy Clyro as well as Fall Out Boy, System of a Down, Deftones, and Skrillex amongst others, Leeds & Reading 2013 is more hotly anticipated than ever. The arrival of a further 39 new acts only adds to this.
First up we have The Pretty Reckless, appearing on the back of supporting Marilyn Manson and Evanescence. The New York band have been one of the scene’s hottest properties in recent times, as their unique brand of seething rage and tempered vulnerability continue to wow audiences around the globe.

They are joined on the bill by Don Broco - Radio one favourites and winners of iTunes Best New Rock Artist gong. Graduating from last year's triumphant success on the Festival Republic stage at Reading & Leeds, this year will see them step up to the Main Stage for what promises to be an electric performance.
The NME and Radio One bills have grown to include the glam rock stylings of Night Engine, indie pop star Darwin Deez, Norfolk alternative rockers Deaf Havana, Irish forward thinking folkateers Villagers, and Californian surf rockers Wavves.
The Radio One’s Dance stage also fattens up its lineup by inviting Skrillex main boy Alvin Risk, synth pop impresario’s Post War Years melodic EDM mongers Pegboard Nerds.
The Lock up and Rock stages have added hardcore connoisseurs Feed The Rhino, Canadian horror film fanatics The Creepshow, Zane Lowe favourites Rat Attack, hardcore energisers Palm Reader, and Brighton based contagions Gnarwolves. Manchester ska/reggae/punk/dubstep activists Sonic Boom Six, up and coming punk purveyors Off With Their Heads, singer/songwriter Chuck Ragan and saxophone hardcore heroes Anti Vigilante will be appearing on the Saturday, as Sunday sees industrial innovators Filter, djent artists Hacktivist, three piece rockers The Virginmarys, the brooding and intense Beware Of Darkness, and Portland, Oregon’s Hawk Eyes.
Other bands included across the other stages include Mount Kimbie, Papa, DIIV, Dan Croll, Itch and Chance the Rapper amongst so many others.
