Legendary reggae DJ David Rodigan comes to Peckham this July

Market Place Peckham is kicking off its opening week with a massive bang with the iconic reggae DJ, David Rodigan, performing an exclusive 90-minute set on the 19th of July 2023. Sign up for tickets now!  

If you aren’t familiar with David Rodigan, let us give you a brief background. The uber-influential DJ has been championing the genre for over 40 years, educating on the history of Caribbean music, and blaring the genre over a handful of radio stations including Capital, Radio London, BBC Radio 1Xtra, and Kiss 100 since 1978. 

Deeply passionate about the genre since he fell in love with it in school, Rodigan went on to explore and learn as much about the culture as possible, resulting in his now encyclopaedic knowledge.

Celebrating the launch of Market Place Peckham in a bit of a different way, tickets for this David Rodigan set are completely free. Once you’ve signed up for tickets, attendees will be chosen at random by ballot on Monday 9th of July. If you win, you can claim two tickets!
