Let's Rock! The Retro Festival hits the UK in summer 2017

A slew of '80s icons will play shows up and down the country between May and July.

Since 2009, Let's Rock has hosted retro performances up and down the country during festival season, with family friendly 80s music providing the musical backdrop for some glorious one-day events. The festival returns in 2017 with a mammoth amount of dates, and plenty of legendary pop stars at its disposal.

Beginning on Saturday 20th May at Marsh Meadow in Maidenhead, a stellar line-up that includes Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, Howard Jones, Sister Sledge, Tiffany, Kid Creole & the Coconuts and heaps more will bring sunshine vibes and pop hooks aplenty. Continuing at Shrewsbury's The Quarry on Saturday 27th May, the musical billing sees true '80s icons including Billy Ocean, Heaven 17, ABC, The Real Thing and others take to the stage throughout the day. See the full Let's Rock Shrewsbury! 2017 line up.

The Bristol leg of the retro festival has double the fun, taking place across the weekend of Friday 2nd - Sunday 4th June, bringing Happy Mondays, Modern Romance, Gloria Gaynor, Tiffany, Village People and Cast, amongst others, to Ashton Court Estate. See the full Let's Rock Bristol! 2017 line up.

Temple Newsam in Leeds is the site of the next one-dayer on Saturday 17th June, where the likes of The Human League, From The Jam, Roland Gift and Tony Hadley will deliver a string of chart-dominating hits (see the full Let's Rock Leeds! 2017 line up) before the event moves to Norwich on Saturday 24th June.

The east Anglia leg of the tour will welcomes shows from Chesney Hawkes, Boney M, Bananarama, Kim Wilde and plenty of others to Earlham Park (see the full Let's Rock Norwich! 2017 line up) then a week later, on Saturday 1st July, the Festival moves to Exeter.

Coming to Powderham Castle is yet another plethora of era-defining talent that includes Big Country, Toyah, Jaki Graham, Level 42 and a string of others. See the full Let's Rock Exeter! 2017 line up.

Southampton Common will be the site of the next event after that, with this time The Human League, Living In A Box, Katrina Leskanich, and Kid Creole and the Coconuts amongst those on the Let's Rock Southampton! 2017 line up on Saturday 8th July.

The final date comes on Saturday 15th July, with London's Clapham Common the site of the all-day party, on the final show in the capital there will be performances from The Human League, Chesney Hawkes, Boney M, Sister Sledge, Heaven 17 and loads more - see the full Let's Rock London! 2017 line up.
