Hail Linton Festival Group!

OK, so the weather's rubbish. But rumour has it that summer will arrive in June!

Ticket Sales
Sales have been going well and we are almost sold out on Saturday and Weekend tickets. Please do not hesitate much longer if you wish to attend the whole event this year. If you are already going, it's going to be a good 'un.

Bands - here is a brief re-cap of some of our fantastic artists this year.

Vintage Trouble - (22.00 Fri) - It all kicked off for VT in Europe after their show-stealing performance on Later.... with Jools in 2011. If you havent witnessed Blues Hand Me Down from that session then get on youtube now. Suffice to say that when we witnessed their live show last year there was simply no question in our minds; we had to get them.

Bernie Marsden Band (20:00 Sat) - Following his storming performance last year at Linton we are very pleased to welcome Bernie back for 2012. One of the original members of rock legends Whitesnake, Bernie is guaranteed to deliver a thrilling set, including some Whitesnake and Rory favourites.

King Mo (22:15 Sat) - 3 times Dutch Blues Award winners, King MOs music can best be described as soulful blues with a rock-edge. In addition to their original songs they play King MO arrangements of Freddie King, Jimi Hendrix, Dylan and Ian Siegal tunes to name but a few. Simply stunning live.

King King (18:15 Sat) - It seems difficult to believe that King King, fronted by charismatic bluesman Alan Nimmo, only came into being only a couple of years ago. Seemingly endless gigs, festival appearances (Glastonbury amongst them), King King have built a massive following across the UK and Europe.

Chantel McGregor (14:45 Sat) - Imagine the tone of Robin Trower, the inspiration of Hendrix, the influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan, the energy of Bonamassa, the intensity of Walter Trout and the haunting vocal of Stevie Nicks all rolled into one........ then enter Chantel McGregor, one of the most exciting rock and blues musicians that the UK has ever produced.

Oli Brown (15:00 Sun) - Oli is one of a new wave of sensational young blues artists that we are very lucky to have on the scene. Last year saw Oli supporting and playing with Blues legend John Mayall.

Larry Miller (13:15 Sun) - After many years in the music business and touring constantly, Larry has built up a large following across the UK and building an ever increasing army of fans in Europe. His status as guitar slinger, is becoming legendary with his exciting, mesmerising guitar playing and rip roaring live shows.

Earl Thomas with Paddy Milner and the Big Sounds (19:30 Sun) - Combining an electrifying blend of Soul and Blues. Earl Thomas and Paddy Milner have been thrilling Festival audiences throughout the UK and Europe, featuring the silky, soulful vocals of Earl Thomas combining with the full band sound of the Big Sounds.

The Grand Slambovians (Gandalf Murphy) (17:15 Sun) - A welcome return to Linton, following an amazing performance in 2009, Playing an utterly unique blend of rock & roll, folk, and quirky Americana, Gandalf Murphy & the Slambovian Circus of Dreams (now The Grand Slambovians) have been called The Hillbilly Pink Floyd.
