Of all the things to come from the outbreak of a global pandemic, a new album from the Dalai Lama is probably one of the least likely.
But then, it’s been a pretty unlikely year. The President of the United States did suggest people inject themselves with disinfectant... so anything goes really.
So here we are, a few weeks away from the release of Inner World, an album of eleven tracks featuring mantras and teachings from the Tibetan spiritual leader set to music.
🙏 The @DalaiLama - Inner World, a collection of mantras and teachings set to music, releasing on July 6th, honoring his 85th birthday 🙏

The release, through Khandro Music and HitCo Entertainment, will mark the Dalai Lama’s 85th birthday, with profits going towards the Mind & Life Institute as well as Social, Emotional and Ethical Learning (SEE Learning) - an international education program developed by Emory University and the Dalai Lama.
Work on the album has been ongoing since 2015, after New Zealand-based buddhist Junelle Kunin proposed the idea to The Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
