It has been confirmed that new romantics Spandau Ballet will play at this year's Ibiza Rocks on Wednesday 19th August, as part of its mega live music line up.
Renowned for their sing-a-long hit 'Gold' below, the band led by Gary and Martin Kemp remain iconic to the eighties, after their prolific emergence during the new wave of music with their synthesized dance-pop. They're also emblematic of the playboy era Ibiza, drawing back on the playful party spirit that dominated the island pre acid house.
Usually worshipped for its legion of dance music, Ibiza Rocks is upping the live music ante on the White Isle. They've hooked in grime collective Boy Better Know for 19th June and Sigma for a live set on the 24th.
July welcomes the collective voice of Jungle for the 1st, and rising indie stars Catfish & The Bottlemen on the 15th. They celebrate their 10th birthday on the 22nd July with The Libertines appearing alongside Slaves.
August sees Clean Bandit on the 5th, Gorgon City live on the 14th and Skepta arrives with a contingent made up of Oneman, Novelist and Sinead Harnett on the 21st.
The Courteeners will command a closing party on Wednesday 16th September to round off the live music programme.
