Liverpool Sound City has clawed together further names for the May Bank Holiday gathering, bolstering the bill with an additional 75 performers. They'll be joining announced headliners Gruff Rhys, Jon Hopkins, Clean Bandit, Albert Hammond Jr, The Hold Steady and Action Bronson at the festival (see our earlier look at the line up here), which takes place in numerous venues across the city from Thursday 1st to Saturday 3rd May.
The new names include Australian psychedelic ravers Jagwar Ma, retro-futurist duo Public Service Broadcasting, Mancunian leftfield maestro Bipolar Sunshine and the shimmering and stuttering electronica of East India Youth (who's rather magnificent Total Strife Forever you can stream above). You can see the full line up at our Sound City page.
