Hot on the heels of announcing this year's line up, Liverpool Sound City has revealed a brand new format for its music industry conference. The reformatted conference, which will be known as Sound City+ , will take place a day before the main festival on Friday 27th May in the Rum Warehouse at Liverpool's Titanic Hotel.

The new look conference, which Skiddle are the exclusive agent and sponsor, will be purely artist and industry focused and feature workshops, 1-2-1 meetings with labels, agents, festival and music industry figures, as well as inspirational TED type talks through the day.

The In Conversation element of the conference has this year moved to become more inclusive, enabling festival goers to immerse themselves in the exciting thoughts of the music industry. Among the new features will be an independent label market, featuring the likes of Sire Records, Heavenly, Domino, Bella Union and Modern Sky Entertainment.
