Liverpool trainer festival LACES OUT announces pre-parties

LACES OUT, a festival that celebrates trainers, comes to Liverpool in October. The festival recently announced two pre-parties to get everyone giddy for the big day.

LACES OUT! Trainer Festival comes to Camp and Furnace in Liverpool in less than three weeks on Sunday 13th October 2024. The festival recently announced it will hold two pre-parties to get its shoe-loving punters giddy for the festival. 

The festival is one of the UK’s biggest celebrations of trainers, bringing rare and exclusive footwear, collectables, and more that anyone who cares about good footwear will enjoy. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, LACES OUT returns to its original home of Camp and Furnace for this year’s celebration with DJs, food and drink, and more. Read more about the festival. 

Now onto these parties! The first pre-party will be at local skate shop Lost Art on Wednesday, 9th October 2024. This party will see legendary hip-hop producer Easy Mo Bee make his Liverpool debut, celebrating 30 years of Biggie’s Ready To Die, which he worked on. 

The producer has worked on some of the most important and iconic hip-hop, including music for 2Pac, Mos Def, Busta Rhymes, Wu-Tang, Biggie, and more. Support comes from DJ, remixer, and beatmaker Jim Sharp, plus sets from LO Sound, Conduit Sound, No Fakin', and W/Love.

Then, the next party will be at 24 Kitchen Street on Friday 11th October 2024 with Nightmares On Wax. Bringing house, hip-hop, and funk across two rooms at the beloved club, the DJ, who’s been on the scene since the '90s, is sure to get everyone up and dancing. 

Support on the night comes from Fila Brazillia, plus local artists Sticky Dub, No Fakin', For The Record DJ: AC Groove, Conduit Sound residents (Benno, Beat Detective, Lemyn), Ellie Jennings, and more.
