More sad news in for clubland today, with Dalston venue Dance Tunnel announcing they will be shutting up shop in August. They revealed licensing issues were at the heart of their decision - read the facebook post on the matter below.

The venue has been responsible for consistently excellent bookings over the past few years, with underground heroes such as Move D, Helena Hauff and Chez Damier all appearing at the space. It'll be sorely missed, and a petition has now been started to prevent the closure - sign it here.
Whilst clubs shutting is sadly a consistent theme in 2016 raving, we're still optimistic the scene at large is in rude health (read our editor Jimmy Coultas' thoughts on the matter). But it does show that these spaces need more support, particularly prescient in light of the issues faced by Junk Southampton. Keep on dancing.
