It's not everyday that legendary reggae band UB40 come around, but this Autumn they'll bring their culturally rich offerings to Middlesbrough Town Hall on Sunday 26th October.
Named after an unemployment benefit form the Birmingham collective remain one of the most culturally diverse bands on the circuit, formed from a number of heavy jam sessions across Birmingham back in the late 70's.
Since, the band have remained influential in the dub reggae genre becoming one of the most commercially successful bands in the domain with over 70 million records sold worldwide.
Albums like Who You Fighting For saw the Birmingham collective earn a well deserved Grammy Award, whilst hits like 'Falling In Love With You' (above), 'Red Red Wine' and 'Rat In The Kitchen' represent perfectly their timeless catalogue of dub infused classics and seminal pop records.
