Socio-political rapper Lowkey returns from hiatus to shed light on important issues through the power of music in September.
Covering topics from war to poverty, Lowkey is a British hip hop artist and a political activist of Iraqi heritage. His last release Soundtrack to the struggle came back in 2011, garnering him a huge following for its slick wordplay and controversial subject matter.
Since putting his musical career on hold to study for a number of years, Lowkey has returned with single 'Ahmed' centred on the on-going refugee crisis.
Subsequently he announced a run of tour dates across the UK, beginning at 24 Kitchen Street in Liverpool on Thursday 8th September.
