Uber's Bank Holiday parties are becoming something of a fixture in northern clubland, especially as they seem hell bent on outdoing themselves with bigger and bigger line ups. This time they've got MK, James Zabiela, Riva Starr, an extra special guest TBA, and then just for good measure, an old Uber favourite, Todd Terry, joining them on Sunday August 24th.

MK is one of the hottest properties around at the moment, having had a massive renaissance since his days as a nineties house originator who produced the likes of The Nightcrawlers. That 90s-tinged bass-line trickery has become the hot sound of today, as you can hear in MK's most recent mix on Danny Howard's show on Radio 1 below.

For the first time Uber will be extending the capacity of their recent new home, The Venue, to include an outdoor space and an extra room for a 12-hour marathon session that begins at 4pm in the afternoon.

Riva Starr, Todd Terry and James Zabiela have all torn it up at Uber in the past - their return is long overdue.  And lest we forget Zabiela's legendary performance at A-Wing the back in May (the below captures a snippet of the fun) - he is bound to have won even more fans in the region after that.

And there's also a whole host of emerging talent on the bill. Keep an eye out for Dirtybird and Hot Creations' Tom Flynn, and the Circus Recordings mafia of David Glass, Kydus, Ki Creighton and Jamie Roy. Head here for Uber tickets.
