Prog House and Techno all day long in one of Manchester’s legendary venues is the scene Majefa are setting for their eagerly anticipated return in 2023!
Headlining proceedings is one of the hottest acts in the world right now, Cristoph. Having recently hit the number 1 spot at the top of the Beatport Progressive House chart with ‘The Music’, Cristoph is already having a huge 2023 and is a massive addition to the Majefa all day event.
OC & Verde also join the proceedings with a pedigree in Techno with releases on Adam Beyers True Soul, Bedrock, Suara and Monika Kruse label Terminal M, this Lancashire duo will be bringing the high energy tunes to the proceedings (check out their live set on SoundCloud from Gorilla Manchester, it’s a big un’).
Next up is one of the rising stars to be coming through ranks, James Organ! Playing recently at the behemoth which is the Warehouse Project and for Liverpool legendary outfit Circus - coupled with releases on Sasha’s label LNOE, James is perfectly poised to bring those big chunky bombs to the Manchester Academy.
On support duties we have Gemma Arnott, one of the original founding fathers of the brilliant 303 in Liverpool, she is accustomed to laying the foundations for these big occasions. Higgins, a Manchester based Prog House institution completes the line up for what is set to be a full on afternoon of underground music!
Doors open promptly at 14:00 with the day drawing a close at 23:30, a 9.5 hour marathon for those that have the energy to go the full whack.
Having built its reputation as one of Manchester’s favourite parties since launching in 2007, Majefa is always a big one.
We advise that you book your tickets early as this is likely to be a sell out!
