Albert Hall, one of Manchester’s best-loved live music venues, recently announced lots of huge upcoming shows at the venue this year including Sasha B2B John Digweed, Swans, Beenie Man, The Masquerade with Clatpone and Pete Tong, and so much more. Read for more info and secure your tickets below.
The Grade II listed independent live music and club venue celebrates 10 years of unreal events, having been established back in 2013. Located on Peter Street, the 1,800-capacity venue is a vital music venue in Manchester, bringing an array of genres to music fans in a stunning setting.
Below, you can see the image Albert Hall posted on social media with the venue's upcoming events this year.
The Masquerade brings a house, tech house, and techno night to the people of Manchester with Claptone and Pete Tong. Joining them are Laura Jackson and MCMA. With two legends on the decks, it’s going to be incredible.

Jamaican legend Barrington Levy was one of the first stars of the dancehall reggae scene and he’s landing in the gorgeous venue with support from The Skatalites, a Jamaican ska band. This is only one of three UK headline performances in his schedule for 2023 with the other two in London and Birmingham.

You don’t get more legendary than this! Returning for a special club night with some music titans including Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Graeme Park, and DJ Paulette, The Hacienda figureheads will have everyone jumping and reminiscing here after the Hacienda Classical show at Castlefield Bowl earlier in the day. The official afterparty soundtracked by the people who created a powerful dance scene in Manchester, this will be wild and worth every penny.
Tickets for FAC 51 The Hacienda | Saturday 8th July 2023
Experimental rock band Swans are set to tear up Albert Hall in August. The super influential band have been cited as an influence by countless bands over their long career that’s seen them release 16 studio albums. This is the chance to see an incredible, important band who aren’t afraid to switch up its sound.
Tickets for Swans | Saturday 12th August 2023
Changing it up a bit, Manchester Psych Fest will host performances at Albert Hall as well as Gorilla, YES, Deaf Institute, O2 Ritz, and Canvas. For fans of alternative and (you guessed it) psychedelic tunes, the fest has over 60 live acts to see including The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Murder Capital, Los Bitchos, The Lovely Eggs, and so many more. There’ll also be art and food stalls.
We did say Albert Hall has a smashing calendar of events. Another stunner due to pop off in September is Sasha B2B John Digweed, two pioneering DJs playing for four hours straight together. These two set the bar for other electronic duos in the 90s. That should tell you almost everything you need to know. Head here for a master house in techno and prog house.
Tickets for Sasha B2B John Digweed (4 hour set) | Saturday 30th September 2023
Yep, the guy from Corrie! Craig Charles is joined by Brand New Heavies, Jocelyn Brown and Lovescene in October before he hits the stage to deliver funk, soul, disco, and disco house bangers. With a super impressive record collection and a passion for the best sounds of yesteryear, music lovers far and wide love to get down to his sets/
