Manchester-based DIY record label Sour Grapes brings Meltchester vol.3 to Manchester’s Projekts Skatepark on Saturday 18th May. It’s looking sick, and tickets are a steal…
Meltchester brings one huge day of psych, garage-rock, and punk plus skateboarding, and food and drinks. On the lineup for this one is US band Night Beats, another US band Frankie & The Witch Fingers, Mexico’s Mengers, Canada’s Hot Garbage, Manchester band Wax Head, Liverpool’s YOBS, Manchester’s GOLD CUP, Sheffield-raised All Girls Arson Club, and, finally, The Pseudo Raft Foundation.
Put on by Sour Grapes, who are also gig promoters and a stage curator at this year’s Manchester Psych Fest, this will be the third volume of Meltchester with many more hopefully on the way. Alongside mad tunes, there’ll be Sicilian street food, craft beers, and free skating for anyone who buys a ticket.
Going down underneath Mancunian Way and just a five-minute walk from Picadilly Train Station, getting to the fest is easy, and tickets are a bargain. Tickets are also covered by Skiddle’s Cool:Off, so if you buy tickets and change your mind within three days, you can get a refund.
Secure your tickets for Meltchester now towards the bottom of this page for an all-dayer packed with skate, scran, and bangers.
