Historical music venue Sound Control remains branded into the epicenter of Manchester's music industry and looks to continue that feat by rolling out a number of key live music dates designed to fulfill the needs of all of the city's die hard metal heads. 

The venue is perfectly designed for a relentless thrashing of guitars with its Alcon sound rig, and three live music rooms geared with the full intention of providing the fully blown intimate experience that remains synonymous with the full on frenzy that surrounds a live metal gig.  

Amen Wednesday 13th August 

Widely dubbed the most dangerous banned in the world, Amen take centre stage at the venue fronted by lead singer Casey Chaos who's well renowned for his lyrical onslaughts that match their venomous output of punk rock, evident in their track 'prince of reality' below. Get your tickets here

My Ruin and guests Tuesday 19th August

Hailing from Southern California are veteran heavy rock band My Ruin who've gained an expansive UK fan base over the years. The explosive hard hitting band are led by violent scream vocalist Tarrie B who exhibits a full on reign of terror below. Grab your tickets here. 

The Front Bottoms Friday 29th August 

In demand indie-folk rockers made up of Brian Sella and Mathew Uychich come to the UK on the back of their fourth anticipated album 'Talon of the Hawk' and scincillating 'Rose EP' (below). The band boast a diverse following hooked on their dynamic sound from the marijuana inspired 'Skeleton' to the thrusting melody of 'Lone Star'. Bag your tickets here.

 

The Jim Jones Revue Sunday 28th September 

The Jim Jones Revue will bring their reign to an end when they bring their Last Hurrah tour to Manchester after seven raucous years. The band have influenced the rock n world world with three mind blowing albums set out to rip apart venues which is evident in their performance of Rock n Roll Psychosis below. Helmet 20th Anniversary Thursday 30th August

The celebration of their album Betty's 20th anniversary gets in full swing when the US metal band blast it out in its entirety along with a set extending to the length of their entire catalogue.
