It’s lining up to be a loud one in Malta this summer.

As music festivals across Europe continue to be wiped out by the ongoing Coronavirus crisis, Malta, which boasts the fewest active COVID-19 cases in the EU and a quarantine-free airbridge with the UK, has seen a surge of new events pop up in recent weeks.

The latest is Mi Casa Festival, a three-day & night house music festival taking over the Mediterranean island’s Gianpula Village from the 18th to 20th September.

Headlined by house favourites Gorgon City, Sonny Fodera and Hannah Wants, other names on the bill include Danny Howard, Mele, Sam Divine, Low Steppa, Lauren Lo Sung, Detlef, Latmun, Mason Maynard, Pirate Copy, George Smeddles, Mason Collective and more.

Mark Knight’s revered dance label Toolroom will also take over a stage on the Sunday, bringing the likes of GW Harrison, Leftwing : Kody, and Illyus & Barrientos to the island - which boasts over 300 days of sunshine each year.

Organisers promise ‘an unrivalled weekend rich with the biggest and best names in house music today. Under scorching skies and picturesque surroundings, heavyweight favourites from the scene make their play for huge summer moments, surrounded by a community of like-minded fans all basking in the glow of a true summer festival experience.’

We're sold on that.

You can sign up for Mi Casa Festival tickets below, which go live on Skiddle from Thursday 16 July.
