DJ super-group combinations don't come much stronger than J.E.S.u.S. It harvests the musical powers of four of the biggest house artists on the scene, all with the potential power to part the Mediterranean sea and turn water into Buckfast. These guys are a force to be reckoned with.
The goliaths of the contemporary DJ world came together in Ibiza last summer for a world-first premier of their experiment on Boiler Room as the lads went b2b2b2b (watch below). They play collectively again for the first time in the UK on Saturday 2nd May at Mint Warehouse in Leeds.
The group is made up of Jackmaster, Eats Everything, Skream and Seth Troxler. Glaswegian Jackmaster is renowned for his eclectic sets and his ability to play pretty much anything and make it work for his set. The Numbers label founder is one of the best selectors in the business, and he's one of the few artists in which DJing alone has catapulted him into success without the need for producing.
Eats Everything is one of the most influential artists in the dance music scene. His sets feature everything from UK bass to early rave and jungle, and we know him best for sending crowds into absolute meltdown with massive drops and a few classics thrown in for good measure.
By their side is genre-bending Skream, whose impact on the electronic scene has been immeasurable due to his shaping of the dubstep sound. Now a flag flyer for techno, disco garage and grime, Skream is as relevant as ever. Last but certainly not least is sex symbol Seth Troxler, a groove Lothario and all-round party starter.
If you want to see the four of them in action, head here for tickets.
