Having hosted Seth Troxler, Hot Since 82, Tensnake and Maceo Plex in the last few months, Mixmag Live continues its faultless rave movements by joining up with almighty house imprint Defected at Oval Space on May 2nd.
Since being set up back in 1999 by visionary label boss Simon Dunomore, Defected has gone on to champion material from some of the biggest acts in house music such as Masters At Work, Bob Sinclair, Paul Johnson, Roger Sanchez, and most recently Guti, Tensnake, MK, as well as the current holders of the number one, deep house slot on Beatport - Oliver $ and Jimi Jules.
Widely respected for its purveying of accessible house and garage, as well as marrying the underground with mainstream appeal, it's no surprise that Defected has gone no to be one of the most successful dance music imprints, with its potency in the scene remaining strong throughout its tenure.
To celebrate fifteen years of unparalleled success in the industry, Defected brings deep house and nu jazz impresario Osunlade, the ever in demand Noir, deep pop house live act Chasing Kurt, head honcho Simon Dunmore, industry stalwarts Copyright (listen to their booty shaking past and present mix above), as well as Sam Divine and Sonny Fodera. Head here to bag your Mixmag Live presents 15 Years Of Defected tickets.
