Hugely popular post rock band Mogwai have announced a small capacity venue date in Liverpool. The band will play at the city's Grade II listed Eventim Olympia on Thursday 22nd November. The hall has a capacity of less than 2000 people.
Over the course of their career, the sonic experimentalists have produced over ten albums, including their 1997 debut 'Young Team' and their latest, 2017's 'Every Country's Sun'.
Known for their long, drawn out compositions, rich creation of atmosphere and dramatic progressions between cacophony and blissfully melodic, the band have also contributed work to several soundtracks including 2006's The Fountain, French TV series Les Revenants (broadcast as The Returned in the UK) and acclaimed documentary films Atomic, Living in Dread and Promise and Zidane: A 21st Century Portrait.
Usually found headlining festival stages or playing to significantly larger audiences, this exclusive Liverpool date for the band will have its tickets snapped up in no time at all.
