With New Year's Eve rapidly approaching, there's also the small matter of the day after. Well worth your New Year's Day consideration After a jam-packed year of show stopping soirees featuring some of the world's biggest names in dance music, mono_cult ignite 2014 with a staggering line up of DJs in tow for their NYD bash.
Heading up the mammoth 12 hour session will be one of the biggest breakthrough stars of 2013 - Breach. After crafting away for years on labels like Pattern and Naked Naked, Ben Westbeech's house focused alter ego hit on a winning crossover formula with ubiquitous hit 'Jack', which Claude Vonstroke and Justin Martin snapped up for their Dirty Bird imprint.
The track catapulted him into bass music royalty, from which a DJ Kicks curation and an even busier touring schedule followed as Westbeech moved to the forefront of the thriving bass music scene; bringing house music through with a swaggering low end.
He will be joined by one third of Hessle Audio - Pearson Sound. One of the most unique figures in dance music, Pearson sound has been crafting his own distinct style for a number of years, with a trademark percussive swagger that makes his work instantly recognisable.
An outstanding producer and DJ, Pearson Sound's off kilter, 808 heavy signature sounds have been working audiences into a frenzy across the globe, with 2013 being his busiest year yet. There really seems to be no stopping him.
The mighty Mano Le Tough, techno legend Levon Vincent, house and techno guru Midland, Optimo and Anthony Naples are just some of the other players involved for mono_cult's almighty beginning to 2014.
