Taking over two floors of Manchester's O2 Ritz venue, promoters Now Wave and Strange Days join forces to bring a full day of live music across the garage and psych genres. Having already announced a headline performance from New York post-punk quartet Parquet Courts, a slew of other bands have been added to the bill to complete the line up.
Bringing their jangly, lucid dream-style sound are fellow New Yorkers, Beach Fossils. The trio's new LP Somersault is the third album from the shoegaze-influenced band, and as it's due for release on June 2nd, it gives fans plenty of time to get familiar with their freshest sound.
Also added to what promises to be an exciting and raucous event, is the obnoxiously loud punk outfit Dead Pretties, as well as Aussie psychedelic rock duo Tempesst. Already announced for this full day psych celebration are Ultimate Painting, Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, Omni, Laurel and Nap Eyes.
