More than 40 new acts join Great Escape line-up

As The Great Escape draws nearer, more than 40 bands have been added to the line-up for the UK's leading new music festival.

Taking place across 30 venues in Brighton, and incorporating a programme of talks and conferences by some of the key figures in the industry, The Great Escape is one of the biggest deals in the UK new music scene, with over 300 artists playing across three days and nights in the city.

Just added to the already all-emcompassing line-up are 42 new acts from across a broad spectrum of musical genres, including house pioneer DJ Leo Zero, disco-rock leftfielders We Have Band, Norfolk based electro-bumpkin Nathan Fake, groove-metal up setters The Defiled, rapturous indie stalwarts Tribes, soulful songstress Ren Harvieu, Chicago raconteur Willis Earl Beal, soul revivalists The Milk, Australian psych set Pond, poetic scribe Chris T-T, dub-reggae soloist Hollie Cook and hip-hop noise master Dan Le Sac.
