Bands. DJs. Football. What more could you want? Find your Feet Festival brings together these three things and more for one day at Rochdale’s Soccer Village.
And, despite our dubious feelings towards the name of the venue (what are we, American?), we have to say it’s looking like one pretty good day out.
Organisers have pulled out all the stops to bring you a hat trick of stages (that’s three), which will play host throughout the day to 30 acts including a host of established and up and coming bands, DJs and acoustic acts.
Headlining the main stage are Manchester ska-punk-reggae (and football mad) act Kid British, who’ll be delivering the type of exciting, high-energy and musically diverse act that’s seen them win over an army of fans across the country.
Joining Kid British on the main stage will be Skelmersdale’s finest Endeavours, Rook and the Ravens, The Quangos, Cheap Cuts, Dead Kestrels and The Genuine Article.
Away from the main stage you’ll find the atmospheric strumming, plucking and crooning of the acoustic stage, which will host a variety of acts including David Liversage, Jackson Kay, Mathew Gray, John Ainsworth and more.
A third stage meanwhile will flow over with Urban talent, with headliners F.O.A.K joined by Shez420, Filthy Skint and a host of hip hop, drum n bass and dubstep acts.
There’ll also be DJ sets throughout the day from Xfm’s Clint Boon, Aza Bombaza, Scruff of the Neck DJs, Who Dares Wins and Rob Fury.
And of course we couldn’t forget the football. Alongside the music, the festival will also host a 5-a-side football tournament, with 32 teams competing for a £500 cash prize. If you’d like to get involved, email whodareswinsevents@hotmail.co.uk for team entry forms and competition rules.
It all takes place on Saturday July 23rd, and tickets are an unbelievable £6. Get yours below!
