Music icon David Bowie has died

Legendary singer David Bowie has tragically passed away, just two days after releasing new album Blackstar on his 69th Birthday.

The chameleon like singer cavorted wondrously through a number of genres during his career, switching effortlessly between genres as diverse as glam rock, disco and folk through his near fifty years of activity in the music world. He worked with the likes of Bing Crosby, John Lennon, Lou Reed and Queen during a career that spanned forty years. He was said to have died peacefully after a battle with cancer on Sunday 10th January. RIP to a true icon of music.
