Music in the Park is coming back to the stunning Worden Park in Leyland on Sunday 26th May, treating fans to a blast from the past. The decorated festival, which recently won ‘Best Small Event of the Year’ at the Lancashire Tourism Awards, is a local event put on by South Ribble Council and has been winding back the years for festival-goers since 2022.
The classic faces from the previous two editions have included Tony Hadley, T’Pau, Go West, Bananarama, Nik Kershaw, Peter Andre, and many more. For the festival’s third iteration, a litany of stars from the 80s and 90s are taking to the stage to relive the very best from the eras.
Billy Ocean, Heather Small, Jason Donovan, Sonia, Katrina (Katrina & The Waves), Angie Brown, Pat Sharp, Bez & Rowetta, Toyah and Boomin are the names on the day at the 2024 event, making it seem like no time has passed. With over 3,000 attendees annually, Music in the Park is a local Lancastrian favourite, so make sure you get down to Worden Park this May bank holiday to experience the best of the glory years.
