New Night Announced for Garlands - Rude

Rude is Garlands sexy new Friday night, a brand new promotion to usher in the club’s proud history of creating two glorious reasons to shake your thang on a weekend.

The Legendary Liverpool club has seen some transformations over the years, having to deal with fires, drunken footballers demanding gigs and a constantly changing set of values and needs from its clubbing clientele. This ability to remain standing whatever the world has thrown against them, to still deliver their own brand of inimitable escapism and to still be the place in Liverpool every week where you know you can lose it for the evening remains as strong as ever.

The music policy at Rude will continue the attitude that Garlands has been famous for, sticking two fingers up at snobby purists with a soundtrack designed for one thing and one thing alone; partying! Friday 4^th April, for a ladies day special as racing fever hits Liverpool, will see a retro feel as Les Calvert, Lee Butler and Lil John wind back the clock to bring back all those classic moments from clubbing! The following Friday then sees a live PA from Peyton, performing the huge tracks ‘Higher Place’ and ‘Music in Me’ with the boudoir taken over by the fabulous Sold guys. One week later and Rude goes back in time again for a very special reunion of the original Garlands Friday party, Peach! The brainchild of clubbing legend Graham Gold, and one of the most iconic London parties at the revered Camden palace venue, Peach had a hugely successful residency at Garlands at the turn of the century, bringing Fergie, Lisa Lashes, Alex P and more down to party. A cherished part of the city’s clubbing folklore, special guests DJs will be returning to create the vibe. And then the final party of the month features a live PR from James Rooney.

The dress code at this lavish soiree will be perfectly poised to showcase the mischievous side of garlands, with a simple ‘rude or prude’ manifesto. Flash provocatively or sternly hide away, or let the mood of the night cause an evolution in your style... the choice remains yours. The Rude residents will be Dave Graham, Les Calvert, Lee Butler, Carl Ralph and Dave Perthard, joined each week by a gorgeous ensemble of Rude entertainers and Dancers making sure this is the place where inhibitions really do melt into submission week after week! It would be rude not too...
