As we wave goodbye to the festival and Ibiza seasons, the one plus we can take advantage of is the biggest and best artists returning to our local venues. And that’s exactly what you can find in this week’s New On Skiddle.
We’ve got some belters here including Ewan McVicar, DJ Paulette, Girls Don’t Sync, SHERELLE, Solardo, two 2024 festivals including Boogietown, and an Oktoberfest party. It’s looking stunning.

Shangri-La Presents: Annie Mac 'Before Midnight'
When: Saturday 11th November 2023
Former Radio 1 host, veteran DJ, and festival owner of Malta's Lost and Found, Annie Mac brings her Before Midnight tour to Cardiff for the first time ever.
Joining her is another legend, DJ Paulette. Rising to fame during the Hacienda days, Paulette went on to play just about every major club imaginable all while staying true to herself and the music she loves.
And if that wasn’t enough to make you go, “ooo, yeah, we need to be there”, it’s all going down one of the best clubs in Cardiff. Don’t say we don’t spoil you…

RUN returns to one of the best clubs in Bristol for one final sweaty DnB rave of the year.
For the first time in over two years, the man, the myth, the legend Andy C represents RUN, guaranteeing pure energy alongside an army of sonically diverse hard hitters from the scene. Pair that up with mega production, massive sound systems, and 2,000 eager ravers, it’s going to be a scorching hot December.
Alongside Andy C, there'll be Serum, ENEI, Harriet Jaxxon, D*Minds, Natty Lou, Puzio, and more, running the tunes from 10 pm up until 5 am.

Manchester-born techno events brand Teletech invites you to celebrate New Year’s Day with them over in one of Manchester’s best clubs.
Hidden, the perfect run-down, sweaty club, will have its three floors taken over by the sounds of the biggest techno beats spun by some true masters of the genre.
Among those on the lineup is France’s LESSSS, Russia's RIKHTER performing live, South Africa’s Lee Ann Roberts, the UK’s Danielle Ciuro, Bulgaria/USA’s Bad Boombox, and many more from across the UK and Europe.
Always keen to introduce the best techno names from all over the world, Teletech has done it again with this NYD lineup.

Oktoberfest On Tour UK: Nottingham
When: Saturday 14th October 2023
Where: Binks Yard in Nottingham
One of the best holidays of the year comes to Nottingham’s Binks Yard with all the bells and whistles you’d expect.
Celebrate authentic Bavarian culture with bratwurst and 10,000 litres of authentic German beers for you to sip from litre steins as we kick off the biggest beer festival in style. There’ll be a live oompah show to set the scene and a funky Bavarian DJ throughout to get you up dancing on those benches.
Don’t be afraid to dress up as there’ll be prizes for the best-dressed Bavarian outfits! There are two shows to choose from, afternoon or evening, so you can either get home for bedtime or stay out munching sausage until it gets dark.

ICE CREAM presents: Sam Divine

Defected’s Sam Divine comes to London’s oldest nightclub for an exclusive, intimate party with DE BOLTZ, Cash Only, and Jimmy V this week.
Raffles Chelsea is a club that encapsulates the spirit of living wild and free. House titan Sam Divine heads over later this week, giving Londoners a unique opportunity to rave with her in an intimate setting following her shows in Ibiza.
Raffles, with its impressive heritage, is located in a three-story Chelsea townhouse and has been a staple of the area’s nightlife scene since the 60s.

MODE UK celebrates five years of huge house music events on Teesside with headliners Solardo.

Wannasee Festival Penrith 2024

Huge tribute festival returns, bringing more of the best music of the last 50 years to the music fans of Cumbria.
Wannasee promises countless tunes you know and love alongside rides, food and drink, stalls, and more, with 2023’s edition featuring tributes to Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Queen, ABBA, Adele, The Smiths, and more.
This family-friendly festival hasn’t announced any names for 2024’s bash just yet, but with the fest’s past lineups being flooded with the biggest names across rock and pop, there’s guaranteed to be tributes to at least a handful of artists you’re familiar with.
