Joshua Brooks | David Rodigan

When: Saturday 4th December 2021

Where: Joshua Brooks in Manchester

One of Manchester's most historic rave spaces, Joshua Brooks will play host to an icon of British sound system culture this December - MBE David 'Ram Jam' Rodigan. 

Radio presenter by day, dancefloor-filling DJ by night, Rodigan is a bonafide legend of both the dancehall and reggae scene and an all-around champion of urban music. Hands down one of the biggest and most knowledgable roots selectors to come out of the UK, for the past forty years, he's educated audiences via radio stations the likes of Capital and BBC 1XTRA, bringing fresh new sounds from across the globe to people in each corner of all four of the home nations.

Brining his bag of rare finds and favoured reggae classics to the Joshua Brooks on Saturday 4th December, don't miss your chance to see one of the most respected names in reggae doing his thing live.

WAH - Shy FX, DJ Marky, Born On Road & more!

Where: O2 Academy Leeds in Leeds

Coming to the O2 Academy in Leeds is an all-star lineup brought to you by Worried About Henry. On the bill they've got Shy FX, DJ Marky, Born on Road, Nia Archives and much more! This will be a complete takeover of the venue that will turn it into a Drum and Bass haven for one night only.

Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival

When: Thursday 28th - Sunday 31st July 2022

Where: Belladrum Estate in Inverness

Whilst Belladrum was unfortunately postponed until 2022, it means that the festival can go harder than ever next year. It is a firm festival favourite that keeps people coming back year after year. With a lineup that's always inclusive of plenty of genres from pop to indie rock and dance, you're bound to find something that you'll love.

With amazing scenery that other festivals are jealous of, entertainment for the whole family and an amazing atmosphere no matter what the weather is, you can rely on Belladrum for a good time.

Nightvision Hogmanay 2021

When: Friday 31st December 2021 (New Year's Eve)

Where: The Liquid Room in Edinburgh

The Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh will be playing host to one of the wildest NYE events in the city this year. Featuring names such as Rebuke, Joyhauser, Pila B and many more, this night stacked full of talent s the perfect way to bring in the new year and celebrate well into the morning.

Flipping between House and Techno all night long, this party is not going to fade quickly and you can be right in the thick of it.

Sounds From The Other City 2022

Where: Chapel Street in Salford

After an absence of two years, people will be pleased to see that Sounds From The Other City will make a welcome return to Salford in 2022. Showcasing just how strong the independent music scene is in the UK, it brings in a host of upcoming talents and legends. You'll be hopping between bars, warehouses, pubs and everywhere in between to catch the best bands.

This s a place where creativity and imagination thrives, you'll see so much cool artwork in this festival that really does feel like a bit of a hidden gem.

Shangri-La: Denis Sulta (We're Back Baby Tour) - New Date 

When: Saturday 29th January 2022

Where: Depot in Cardiff

Denis Sulta will be joined by Ben Hemsley in the Welsh capital next year as Denis gets back into the swing of things by delivering one of his biggest tours to date. The Glaswegian DJ and producer will be holding nothing back as he reaches the crowds that have missed his live performances so much.

Ths is going to be an absolutely mad night in Cardiff, make sure you don't miss out on it.

Sonic Wave

Where: Digbeth in Birmingham, West Mid

Sonic Wave could just be your last festival fix of 2021. This multi-venue event is inviting down a very cool selection of indie artists to Birmingham, who could be going on to do some very impressive things. Names such as Do Nothing, Pixey, Chappaqua Wrestling and more are just some of the highlights.

From post-punk to dream pop there's a huge wave of different styles to choose from. You never know who you'll discover here for the first time but there are definitely going to be some memorable performances.

Joshua Brooks New Years Eve | Floorplan (Robert & Lyric Hood)

Where: Joshua Brooks in Manchester

Floorplan returns to Manchester for a NYE special. Setting up shop in Joshua Brooks, get ready for a night of Disco, House and huge Techno tunes as the venue really comes to life. Robert Hood will also be making an appearance in a set that is going to be one to remember.

So, if you want to spend your New Year's Eve listening to massive tunes and having a dance amongst like-minded people then this is the event for you.
