So here it is, New On Skiddle, everybody’s having fuuun!
Okay, we’re at the point now where we really can’t handle the excitement much longer. Seven days until Christmas? Eight days until Boxing Day raves? Fourteen until New Year’s Eve? We were ready yesterday!
But until then, to make the wait that bit easier to deal with, we’ve brought you some more fantastic new events going down in Scotland and England in the second to last New On Skiddle of the year.
Perhaps you’ll snag yourself festival tickets to give you something to look forward to in 2024. Or maybe you’ve got your eyes on Bou’s headline tour. Where: Radisson Red Glasgow in Glasgow
Hedkandi brings the soothing but grooving side of house music including disco and soulful house to Glasgow’s Radisson Red Sky Bar on the weekend after Valentine’s Day - the perfect date night out!
The award-winning glass box in the sky welcomes the queen of Hedkandi, THERESE, a vocalist you might know from If Only You with Danny Saucedo and Put ‘Em High. Joining her are Mark Doyle and Mark Ireland, as well as live percussion and saxophone.
Their biggest lineup so far and a Scottish exclusive show, secure your tickets now below before you end up desperately scouring the internet for spare tickets. We’ve all been there. It’s not a fun time.

Where: VOID Nightclub in Lincoln
Independent record label, Crucast, has taken the UKG, DnB, and bass scene by storm. Known for takeovers at festivals and clubs, and unforgettable sell-out tours, Crucast just keeps growing and growing.
In Feb, they bring some modern bass royalty to Lincoln’s VOID to have the walls shaking and you lot grooving all night. With Sota, Simula, Darkzy, Window Kid, Amplify, Kara, Lazcru, MC AD, Haribo, and special guest Disrupta on the lineup, you know that VOID sound system will be put to good use.

Dysfunctional Rave x SWG3: BIIA
When: Saturday 24th February 2024
Portuguese electronic artist BIIA headlines SWG3’s TV Studio, a venue with around a 1,000 capacity, for an intimate showcase of her hard-hitting techno productions, which combine hard, raw 90s beats and unusual sounds. And don’t be surprised if a few other genres pop up in the set!
Always aiming to ensure her sets are diverse, BIIA focuses on adding different textures, styles, and colours, crafting DJ sets that serve the party while incorporating her unique style with sounds she wants to bring to the table.

Alternate presents Ben UFO, Joy Orbison, Mantra + 5 Yrs of GD4YA
When: Friday 23rd February 2024
Where: Central Warehouse in Bristol
Going on sale today at 9:45 (set those alarms!), joint headliners Ben UFO and Joy Orbison & SP:MC are joined by Mantra & MC Blackeye, Brink B2B Leiko, and more.
From these guys, you can expect a melting pot of genres, tempos, textures, and eras including UKG, techno, grime, and jungle sounds. The Silo / Room 2 celebrates five years of garage label GD4YA Records with UKG pioneer Hodge, El-B, and SP:MC will be spinning a rare UKG set, joined by Yaw Evans and Tales From The Southside.
With two of the best-loved artists in the underground and a room dedicated to UKG, it’s going to be incredible. Especially at an upgraded venue with an L:Acoustics line and subarray!

Where: BEC Arena in Manchester
Europe's biggest indoor metal festival returns for its 19th edition at Manchester’s BEC Arena in November, bringing music fans slamming riffs and guttural screams from 11am to midnight.
This year’s fest saw some titans of the scene as well as ones to watch including Enslaved, Electric Wizard, Amenra, High Command, Nordic Giants, Laster, and more. With a constantly growing fanbase, tickets are selling out faster and faster each year. You can cop your bargain blind bird tickets below (payment plan option available, too!) or wait until 7pm tonight when the festival announces its first bands for 2024.

An immersive journey into Glasgow’s electric rave culture, Coloursfest is back in 2024 to have you dancing all day to incredible international hard dance and trance artists.
It’s too early for a lineup announcement, but we’ll tell you a bit about who played last year to give you a feel for what to expect. They brought in Showtek, Billy Gillies, Sub Zero Project, Darren Styles, Psyko Punkz, Andy Whitby, and more, so you know 2024's lineup will be belting.

Magic Garden Rave | Space Tribe
When: Liv - Saturday 17th Feb 2024 / Brum - Saturday 17th Mar 2024 / LDN - Sunday 31st March 2024
Where: Liverpool, Birmingham, and London
Colourful, big, loud, and essentially an adult’s playground, Magic Garden Rave brings cutting-edge house and techno with lots of thrills and entertainment to make you wish the night would never end.
Coming to some of the best venues in Liverpool, Birmingham, and London, MGR brings a full venue transformation, dancers, and incredible DJs tied together by ground-breaking production. In between all of that, there’ll be face and body painting, a glitter station, and some surprises in store. You see what we mean now by “adult’s playground.
Straddling the line between festival bliss and underground rave, MGR is the place for expression, hedonism, and freedom.

Bou Winter/Spring Headline Tour 2024
When: Saturday 10th February - Friday 15th March 2024
Where: London, Nottingham, Northampton, Newcastle, Cambridge, Manchester, Southampton, and Leeds
Prince of drum and bass, Bou, brings the tunes across England on a headline winter/spring tour, and it’s going to be heavy.
A remarkable rise, Bou has secured several awards, including Best Breakthrough Producer, Best Breakthrough DJ, and Best Producer while churning out modern DnB classics, including Baddadan with Chase & Status, Closer with Slay, and Streetside with Bru-C. The jump-up producer is sure to keep getting bigger and bigger with these shows brought to us by The Warehouse Project (MCR) and Worried About Henry.

neXup - Max Dean B2B Luke Dean
When: Saturday 2nd March 2024
Where: TBC in Manchester
The Warehouse Project brings Max Dean B2B Luke Dean to a yet-to-be-announced venue in Manchester. Tickets are available exclusively on Skiddle.
Both Max and Luke are tipped to have a massive year in 2024. Max, with releases on Eastenderz and Solid Grooves, multiple Beatport number ones, and a DC10 set in Ibiza this year, has already enjoyed an incredible rise in the scene. Luke, having gained support from greats including Mason Collective, Suat, and George Smeddles, joins his cousin Max Dean for a B2B set in spring for a 9:00pm - 4:00am set of house and tech house bangers.
