In between the bursts of rain and the wind that almost sends us tumbling into the road like a long-forgotten crisp packet, we can almost taste the summer that’s lurking around the corner. While we are getting a little impatient, we suppose it’s better than winter.
So while we’re waiting for beer gardens, festivals, and small coat weather, we’re looking for the best events to fill that time up. But also gems to make summer that bit better! If you’re the same, you’re going to like what we’ve got…
This week, we’ve got some all-night-long sets from Hannah Wants and OGUZ, a Mochakk bank holiday party, hard techno festivals Accelerate and PRTY, a Tina Turner tribute gig, Catfish and the Bottlemen, and more.
Check out what’s new and secure your tickets below!
When: Friday 10th May 2024
Where: The Loft MCR in Manchester
House music queen Hannah Wants comes to one of the best clubs in Manchester in May, bringing with her a slew of bangers like her tracks ‘Cure My Desire’, ‘Rhymes’ with Chris Lorenzo, and her most recent banger ‘Ghetto’ for an all night long set.
The former footie player turned DJ and producer is known for her bass-heavy house music, which is often released on Defected Records. Having played at elrow, some of the biggest music festivals, and iconic venues like Printworks, the self-taught turntablist is a star in her own right and will certainly be absolutely incredible to see in a smaller venue such as this one.
